Chinese guardian lions or Imperial guardian lions, traditionally known in Chinese simply as Shi often called 'Foo Dogs' in the West. These are a common representation of the lion in Imperial China

Made from fine limestone chippings and chemicals which prevent the stone from cracking or splitting in ice cold weathers.
The limestone gives this feature an antique grey stone finish and makes this really stand out in the garden.
